Australian Music Calendar
The Australian Music Calendar is published monthly in resonate, the AMC's web magazine, listing upcoming performances of Australian music across Australia.
Submitting your performance
Listing of concerts in the Calendar is a free service available to members and non-members alike. Events featuring contemporary classical, jazz, experimental music, sound installations and more are all accepted.
To be eligible, performances must contain at least one work by an Australian composer. Each monthly calendar includes information about key performers, ticket prices and booking contacts.
Deadline: 20th of the month preceding publication
FAQ
I have missed the deadline. Should I still submit my performance?
Most definitely! Even if you've missed the deadline for the next calendar publication your performance information is still valuable to the Centre for historical documentation.
I'm not an Australian musician. Am I eligible for a listing?
Any musician, or ensemble can advertise their performance in our calendar provided their program includes at least one work by an Australian composer and they are performing in Australia.
I'm performing Australian music in my concert overseas, can I still list my concert?
The Australian Music Calendar is only for performances within Australia. However, we do document overseas performances - so please submit your information.
Do you list Radio Broadcasts of Australian Music?
While the Calendar does not list radio broadcasts of Australian works, it provides highlights of ABC Classic FM's programming of Australian music. We also publish statistics of Australian music content from ABC Classic FM, 2MBS FM and 3MBS FM.
